This unique painting technique was introduced by the German firm Schipper fifty years ago. The idea behind the technique originated in the US, and was originally conceived for children. Thanks to Schipper, it also became popular among adult hobby artists. The ingenious technique is remarkably simple: Each canvas features areas with marked with numbers. A colour is assigned to each number. Simply paint the marked areas with the corresponding colour and complete a work of art in no time!

Schipper’s “Painting by Numbers” products are produced locally and sustainably using the highest quality standards. The painting kits are made exclusively in Fürth in Bavaria. In addition to the latest standards, Schipper also uses materials which are selected and processed with the utmost care. The painting kits are also recyclable and contain no harmful substances.
